Building on the work of previous years, this year’s conference brings together grassroots organisers, campaigners, policymakers, and international partners committed to advancing the global reparations movement. As momentum grows, our theme this year, “Delivering Justice through Repair”, calls for dialogue to be matched by decisive action.

The inequality we face globally stems directly from the legacies of enslavement and colonisation. Britain has yet to fully confront or make amends for these injustices. Our shared challenge is to turn recognition into repair, ensuring that policies lead to meaningful change.

This year, we focus on how to push for genuine repair through systemic reform, including the establishment of an All-Party Parliamentary Commission for Truth and Accountability. By strengthening collaboration and amplifying grassroots leadership, we can advance the call from Afrikan heritage communities for justice and lasting transformation.
